Why choose a respirator?

FFP2 respirator is a type of private protective device you can use for the true purpose of respiration. It prevents the wearer from inhaling aerosols( dust, smoke, mist) and vapors or gases( disinfectants, anesthetic gases) that are harmful to health. It also shields the wearer from airborne contagious agents such as coronavirus, SARS, H1N1 etc.
Insulating and filtering are the 2 main kinds of respirators.
Afiltering respirator contains two parts: the facepiece and the filter. The filter aspect is sometimes integrated into the facepiece of the camera. With respect to the sort of filter, the mask may well succeed only against contaminants or against certain gases and vapors.
To enhance user comfort, filtering respirators are often built with an exhalation valve. Theregulators prevents condensation inside mask and helps the user breathe for and out.
Respirators also shield against inhaling "droplets" of contagious agents.
Which surgical masks or respirators protect against contagious diseases and viruses?
Tuberculosis:
For that contagious patient: you should wear a surgical mask to prevent contamination from the surrounding with the projection of secretion droplets or secretions from the top of the respiratory system during exhalation.
For caregivers and visitors: it is necessary to wear a protective mask of a category of at least FFP1 or FFP2( Class N or Third in the United States ) in case of multi- immune tuberculosis or particularly high- risk situations( intubation, induced sputum, etc.).
Coronavirus, SARS, H1N1:
For your contagious patient: you need to wear the surgical mask when contagion is suspected.
For caregivers: it is necessary to wear a protective mask of at least class FFP2 or FFP3( Class N, R or S in the United States ) for maximum filtration of particles and aerosols when caring for a patient who is infected or suspected of being so.
Clou type bioterrorism: it is necessary to wear a FFP2 or FFP3 respirator( Class N, Third or P in the Unified States).
